Introducing our new auto-translation feature
We're delighted to introduce our brand new auto-translation feature, which supports machine translation into English from over 50 languages.

With the release of version 4.7 of Codeit, we now support high-quality automatic translation, into English, from over 50 languages, including all of the most common Western languages as well as many Eastern languages. A complete list can be found here. From a user perspective, once translation is selected at the project import stage, then coding/tagging (in all the modes) can take place in either English or the original native language.

If the source verbatims have been auto-translated, then all the AI layers (Text Matching, Text Rules, Machine Learning) will work on the auto-translated text (not on the original source text). In other words, once you have auto-translated, users should stick with the translated text for on-going processing.

Currently,  Machine Learning is only supported for auto-translated verbatims (into English) and does not work for source languages other than English – the ML is only currently supported in English. Our recommendation is that to take full advantage of the ML capabilities in Codeit, you should use the auto-translation feature.

This new feature dramatically cuts the time and cost associated with traditional manual translation and produces translated text that is perfectly adapted for the coding/tagging process. At launch, we are offering this new feature at no charge for a period of time, until we have more experience of its use in practice. After that, it will become a chargeable add-on.
